Health Specialist
The Health Specialist Award is best completed in parts . Below each section is a different part of the award. This can be done over multiple days/ meetings.
Part 1
Memorize I Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV)
19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own
20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body
Do this activity to help you learn 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20. Use a dry erase board and pen. Write each word of the verse down on the dry erase board. Point to each word and say it. Then, each time you point and say, erase a word and replace it with a blank. By the end, you should have all blanks and no words.

Part 2
Describe a proper diet, and list the basic food groups.
The Food Guide Pyramid is one way for people to understand how to eat healthy. A rainbow of colored, vertical stripes represents the five food groups plus fats and oils. Here's what the colors stand for:
